The Winter Sounds concert poster

So I altered my style a bit on this one but it was working so well I just went with it. I guess this would be the minimalist version of my usual illustration style. I couldn’t find a liquid splash that fit into the arch I needed so I ended up finding something similar and drawing it out by hand with pencil (turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself). This quickly goes to the top few of my favorite posters that I’ve done.

That kind of looks like me this morning. My vomit was definitely projectile. It was kind of funny and I might have laughed if it didn’t hurt and taste so bad. You should tell your band to play with Airborne Toxic Event again!!!

I also like that his hands look semi-crippled from fighting. Like even though he’s pounded the other guy, the punches broke his hands just as much.
Also, I think the minimalism fits. Just a stark-fist-fight. The necklace really aids the feeling of movement too. Very nice!
