Hoppers Posters

I was asked to create two posters for the Live Set concerts at Hoppers restaurants. The first is for artists interested in performing at Hoppers. The second is a template for the artists who do perform. The artist image, album covers and dates gets swapped out for each new artist.

I always love your splash design. Always looks very liquid. Is it an image you paste a lot, or do you draw the splash by hand?

Excellent choice of microphone. I have a picture I took of the original mic that Elvis and Johnny Cash and all of them used to record. I really like the design and how it looks musiciany and still has the hoppers’ feel to it. Does that guy’s name have something to do with pigs flying? Landon – Landing.

I usually have something pretty specific in mind for the splash’s, but if I can find something close I’ll use it. Otherwise I’ll create it from scratch.
I have no idea where Landon Pigg got his name from, or if it’s even his real name.
